Garlicky Butter Beans on Toast

  • Butter Beans
  • 2 Fresh Rosemary Sprigs
  • 150ML Olive Oil
  • 2 TBSP Boiled Water
  • 1/2 TSP Smoked Paprika
  • 8 Slices of Sourdough Bread
  • 1-2 Large Cloves of Garlic
  • 8 Slices of Cured Spanish Ham
  • Extra Virfin Olive Oil

Roasted Garlic Kraut


  • Drain and Rinse the butter beans, then add them to a food processor.
  • Chop up the rosemary and add it to the food processor.
  • Combine together in the food processor. Reduce speed and add in a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Add in hot water until smooth. Add Paprika to taste.
  • Toast sourdough bread
  • Peel garlic cloves, cut off the ends, then rub the toast with the cut garlic.
  • Top sourdough slices with butter bean mash and a slice of cured ham.
  • Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil, seasalt and papkria.
  • Enjoy!


Onions: Use a sweeter one such as Vidalia, or use white or red. They all have different strengths and flavor levels, so you'll get different results. But they're all great!
