Savory, golden French toast topped with warm, caramelized Cleveland Kitchen kimchi for a bold, craveable twist on a classic brunch favorite.

Ingredients

  • Classic Kimchi, for serving
  • 1 Tablespoon Cilantro, Chopped
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • 2 Slices of White Bread
  • Butter for frying
  • 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1/2 Avocado, Thinly Slices

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper and cilantro.
  • Add butter to a fryer pan on medium heat. Let butter melt until it is foaming.
  • Dip each piece of the bread into the egg mixture and coat each side. Then, place in the frying pan for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on each side.
  • Transfer the bread to the plate.
  • While, the French toast is cooking, combine mayo, ketchup, and sriracha together in a bowl and adjust the sauce to taste preference. Smear the toast with the sauce and top with slices of avocado.
  • Garnish each piece of toast with Classic Kimchi
  • Serve and enjoy!
