Ingredients
- 4 bratwursts
- 4 brat buns
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1½ cups Cleveland Kitchen Classic Sauerkraut
- Dijon mustard, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a grill to medium heat.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15–20 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized.
- Meanwhile, grill the bratwursts for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
- Lightly toast the brat buns if desired. Place each brat into a bun. Top with sautéed onions and Classic Sauerkraut.
- Serve with Dijon mustard, if desired.
